Does anybody know how to delete and reinstall dialup networking and ras services.

I believe these items are corrupt, and need to be reloaded.

corruption took place when system automaticly rebooted it self and scandisk removed part of the files because they were lost.

I just tried to remove tcpip from my system and got a dump on mrxwdnp.sys

Is there a way to remove TCP/IP without crashing the system to re install it.

I've run into the same problem with Win2K. I was finally able to uninstall TCP/IP and all the networking stuff, but it had to do with the right sequence at the right time. I have a laptop and found that you have to have the network card installed before this can be done. As a result, I lost all my DUN connections as well. Not a good solution, but it's all I've got.

P.S. Uninstalling and reinstalling worked for awhile, but the problem came right back! I haven't found any other solution to the issue.

I finally got to the bottom of this problem. It's not TCP/IP at all, but Rumba or another WallData product. The driver listed at the top, MRXWDNP, is part of the Rumba installation. Remove the part of it which controls the Rumba Networking and TCP/IP and the problem goes away.....
