I saw this posted back in February and have the same question. It wasn't responded to before. Could you please answer this question:
I understand the WOW registry is part of WIN2K security, but it's the startup program file that has me confused.
The key entry is as follows:
Under WOW SetupPrograms, I have.SetupProgramNames Reg_multi_sz install inst imposta ayarla felrak eviewset
Is this a valid entry or part of some Trojan file call?

"when in doubt, throw it out"
Backup the registery and then delete it, if it crashes you know you needed it, restore the backup.

I've seen where alot of people are asking about this, but no real answers. I will say, though, that I've noticed this same setting on every Windows 2000 system I've checked...which is only a few so far. I'm guessing that it's nothing, though I am running the trojan scan right now...and already ran Ad-aware v6.
Thanks for the quick responses
Tom

Well, wouldn't go so far as to "throw it out"!
I searched my registry and I too have that same reg key. I have (and regularly) scanned my system for viruses, hacks, bots, spyware and such... nothing nasty has been found (that wasn't quickly deleted!)...
If you search further in the registry you will find more WOW entries, one of which gives "wowcmdline" as a file called "ntvdm.exe". this appears to be a Windows System file.
The GFiTrojanScan (nice one stevesemm :o) ) found nothing.
I suggest you leave well alone and use more regular means of keeping your system in hand..
Good Luck . . .
:o)
