I need to create a public folder where users can add, modify, and delete their OWN folders. All other users can only READ each others folders and files. They should not be able to modify, delete, or add to other user's folders and files. Only the original creator of their own folder should be able to modify or delete it.
Here comes the tricky part: I need this to be automated. The public folders should automatically inherit from the parent PUBLIC folder and require no additional permissions tweeking from administrators or the users.
My root PUBLIC folder has these permissions:
Domain Admin = FC - This folder, sub, and files
Creator Owner = FC - Sub, and files
Domain Users - This folder, sub, and files
= Travers, List, Read, ReadEx, Read PermDomain Users - This folder only
= Travers, List, Read, ReadEx, Read Perm, Create FoldersEverything works perfectly and automatically except one thing: the original user can not rename their own folder created directly under the root PUBLIC folder. However they can delete their own folder, as they should.
I'm sure others have tried something simular. Any ideas or work-arrounds? Thanks in advance.
