As you said in the initial mesg. ypu can run a free proxy server (many available on the net) on the Win2k m/c. You have not mentioned which kind of internet connection you would want to share. If you want to share a Cable/DSL connection best way to go would be to put 2 NIC's in Win2k m/c and make one of them part of your internal subnet and connect the other NIC to cable/DSL connection. If in case you are sharing Dial up connection, one NIC would be enough.
