I saved a program already in use to be able to reintall so i can get back all my saved sites,
had to use a folder name and to reinstall would like the subfolder to become the folder??

RogerG you can't save a program that is in use.
You can't install a program from saving/coping a folder. That doesn't put the registry entries in which are required.

If you are just talking about saving your IE favorites you can do this easily by coping and pasting.

But it is unclear from what you write what it is you are trying to accomplish.
