Hi

I have experiencing a problem lately which pertains to Windows Explorer. I have a T23 Thinkpad with Win 2000 SP4 and IE 6 SP1 (all updates current).

When I place my DVD drive in Ultra Bay, it is not updated in my computer. Similarly, any USB device e.g. USB Jump Drive, my Canon camera's storage (USB device) are not appearing in MY COMPUTER.
Apparently I can access these drives from command prompt which is quite unusual.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks

Are you "starting & stopping" the devices before you plug & unplug them?

No I am not. It appears that MY COMPUTER is corrupted as I was able to create an icon (short cut) for USB drive as well as CDROM on my DESKTOP.
