Ive had a problem for the past day. It started last night doing a google image search... saving the occasional pic. Then it started coming up with IE errors (cue send/dont send error report dialog).
after this happening a few times i called it a day.

So today i booted up and anytime i try and open a folder i get the following message:

explorer.exe - Application error
the instruction at "0x77fcca14" referenced memory at "0x00000000".
The memory could not be "written".

then explorer.exe restarts and this repeats usually about 4-6 times before it calms down, and i can do stuff like surf, play music...

the only thing that i can think thats caused it is the IE6 critical update that was installed not long before.

(i already found a thread about explorer.exe / nvtuicpl.cpl (nvidia driver)... no joy)
