I have windows 2000, it's not recognizing any USB disks, They tell me that a driver "USB" is unknown, I tried to reinstall it using USB.inf from Winnt, but it didn't work. I reinstalled Windows but it still didn't work.
when I plug the USB in, the mouse stops working, & when I take it off, it starts working again .. why ? it's so weird ! please help me

Maybe too many USB devices. Try using a powered hub. And W2K doesn't recognize all USB drives by default like XP. You may need a driver disk.

you are windows 2000, it's not recognizing any USB disks,you are suppose to install USB driver for that flash you are using, i believe it can work very fine,

install USB driver for the flash you are using it will work.
