problem with opening .exe files

hey guys i have insulted, disrespected, cried and dishonored by this problem recently i working on my computer and this problem appeared >>>>"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the folder options control panel"<<<< i was confused i ran almost everything, but could open any EXE files. Then my quest began to find a cure, it was tough for 17 er ol to find a cure online, but i did it. Go on this link http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm
then download this safe and secure "EXE file Association fix" then open the file u wont have any problem doing it. the files name will be "xp_exe_fix.zip" a zipped folder now all u have to do it open it by double clikcing and again open it by single click and then a series of YES twice and TaDa..... u just fixed ur problem and now u can search and download prn go enjoy ur life while u can ppl.. bye

You're in the w2k forum saying you used the XP EXE fix.

Used it on WHAT?

Thanks for the advise but...have you considered reading a good book for some enjoyment instead? Focus your energies on something more productive is my tidbit to offer. At seventeen you can gain a lot.
