Hello!

I am having a problem with opening images in Internet Explorer that I cannot seem to figure out...

I like to use IE as the program to view JPG and GIF files, however, when I double-click one of these image files to open it, it just opens a blank page in IE.

I have tried re-associating Internet Explorer with these types of files, but I have found that the only way to open them in IE is to right-click the file and choose Open With > Internet Explorer.

This doesn't make sense to me, and if anyone can explain to me how to fix it, I would appreciate it very much.

Thanks in advance!

after trying everything under the sun to fix my prob (see above) i simply downloaded int ex 6 from the microsoft website. {nb ensure you uninstall ad aware or pop up stoppers first as this may have caused problems in my original install. you can e add them later} when exp set up said youve already got int ex 6 i clicked write over again and it went through the reinstall process on restarting the computer again. repair disks, urls, setting changes were no good. guess it was just a bug in int ex 6 original.
i hope re installing it works miracles for ya. cheers.
