Problem with Content Advisor...

i have tried to delete the "key" in Hkey_Local_Machine folder and followed all the steps but once i delete the key it pops up again...strange thing is i dont know how I got the "restiction" in the first place..I have 2 partions...MS-Dos C: with Win98 ..there I have no problems (no restrictions) but with D: drive Win2000 I cannot set my own content..any advise...have tried to delete Ie6 then clean the registry with Fix-it Utilities but to no avail...thankx

after you delete the key are you going into tools--internet options--content and disabling the advisor? All the registry thing does is delete your content advisor password, not disable content advisor itself... you still have to do that manually. also, could a script of some sort be loading in startup that is reseting it? Are you part of a network where the IE admin kit could be used?
