Hi All,
I have Win2k Pro with 2 graphic cards installed. Some users will use a special device connected to the second graphic card.
My problem is with the users that do not need to use this special device, in this case the mousse pointer 'gets lost' into the second screen which is of course not visible and some simple users without experience don't move the mousse enough to see it coming back to their monitor, and think that something is wrong with the computer.

I need to find a solution to this. And when possible, one that i can use performing it from a program, so that the user doesn't have the chance to choose). If you see another chance is anyway welcome! .

I tryed in order to activate or deactivate one of both cards, to change the registry, the problem is that i need to reboot in order for the changes to take effect, and is not profesional to make the user reboot when he just logged.

I tryed also creating 2 Hardware profiles, but the graphic cards in general don't give the possibility 'device usage' wich i need to relate this hardware component to the profile.

Of course the problem is solve when i select in the 'Display properties' the 'Do not extend my windows desktop onto this monitor'. But then this chance is for all user, and what i need is 'depending on the user'.

I will really appreciatte any help or hint to solve my problem.
Bye

Sebastian
