problem clearing IE autocomlpete history

Hi, everyone. In Internet Explorer 6, when I click on "Clear Passwords" in... Tools>Internet Options>Content Tab>Personal Info Box>Auto Complete... button>Clear AutoComplete History box>Clear Passwords Button ... I get the timer mouse icon and I show "Not Responding" for IE's status in Task Manager. The Services process show high CPU usage under processes, also. I have tried waiting for about 10 minutes, and gave up. Is this supposed to take this long to do? Am I doing something wrong? I am not logged in as administrator, but I would assume passwords are user-specific, anyway, so this shouldn't matter. Thanks for any help, Adam.
