When I print a multiple page print job from any application to my Epson color 880, printing stops tehn starts repeatedly. I get a windows print folder popup error message that there was an error printintg the file and a choice to retry or cancel the job. If I select retry or I just do nothing, printing continues ... this process repeats throughout the print job. I also have a Lexmark x75 multifunction printer/scanner/copier hooked up to the same computer which is working properly. Any ideas what this might be? Is this a virus? I have uninstalled and re-installed both printers. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

max

Hi Maxine,

How is the printer conected to the pc, to the usb port or LPT1?

If it is connected via the USB port, try to move it to lpt1 and vice versa.

good luck
