I use windows 2000 and I am trying to print some large image files of about 130MB or A3 size from illustrator or freehand. The print cue indicates that all is working but the print preview shows the top part of the print but some proportion at the bottom of the page is always cut off, it always varies sometimes more sometimes less. Then when I print that portion of the print is cutoff just as the print preview indicates. If I insert the image in word it prints all of it but the file it sends to the printer is much smaller abot 40Mb and it loses quality. I have tried to figure this out for months but can't I also have about 360Mb of RAm so I don't think that is the problem either.

Peter :

my best guess is that you need a Lot of
Free space on your harddisk too :
so it could very well be possible that
you need about maybe a gigabyte free disk
space and defragmented Harddisk.

All my printing problems disappeared
after enough free disk space and defragmentation .

Sure hope this helps

Good Luck

Theo
