Printer Sharing

Hi, I need to be able to share a printer that is connected locally to a Windows 2000 workstation. I can share it and access it from another workstation when I am logged on as the user that I connected to the printer as. But I am in a school and want the shared computer to be available to everyone who logs onto the computer (I can't go through the process of sharing each printer for each student on each workstation). Is this possible?
Basically when you install a printer on a workstation it becomes available for all users who log onto the workstation - I just want the same for all shared printers.

the best way to handle this is make a group of all your student account and then set the permission on the printer that the student (group) can use the printer. the printer will see all the user in the student group and once they log on they will have right to print to the printer. this seem to be the best way to go about managing a printer issue under many people. good luck
