Is there a way I can give a user priority over a print job? I have a Win2k Server of 200+ users, I would like certain people in my network, to have priority over others, so when they put a print request out, it automatically gives them priority over someone else. (In other words, I have people who are more important, and instead of making them wait for their print jobs, I would like them to have it printed instantly, and other print jobs pushed down until this persons job is completed). THANKS! Jack

I think the way it's supposed to be done is make a different logical printer for the users who need the higher priority. Once the printer is created you can adjust the settings in File=>print server if I remember correctly. Then just give the appropriate users the printer. I do know that this is the way my W2K book says it should be done.

I didn't remember correctly. You can set printer priority in the printer properties dialog box under the advanced tab.
