What is the command to print .prn files to a printer in Win2k? I've seen the following for parallel port printers:

I think you must have a postscript printer. If you haven't, you can install one of them (i.e. Xerox Docutech PS2) and select to print in a file (not lpt1). Then, the generated files can be renamed to *.ps and viewed and printed with Ghostview or another postscript viewer-printer package in any printer, postscript or not.
I hope this help you. Bye

Although Microsoft has several Knowledge Base articles on the subject of PRN files, the best utility I've found is called "PRNter v1.0" by Lee Tet Woo. It's FREE (woo-hoo!) and requires no installation. Just download the one file and run it. Then you use a standard "file open" window to select the PRN file to print, then you select which printer to send it to (it gives you a list of all printers your printers folder), then click "Print"! That's it, so simple! It works for USB printers, network printers, etc!
