Comment:

My Windows 2K PROFESSIONAL has something set wrong, I guess. I open MS Internet Explorer to Google, which is my default home page. After 2-5 min a pop-up window opens (can't prevent that, I know) but it is another window which caled Live Action!(the site has unsuitable content-sex).The same thing happens sometimes without to open MS Internet Explorer and the pop up window as described above opens without reason. I tried to find out something in the REGEDIT but I failed. I Know there are pop up stopping software but I don't want to buy somthing that.I don't Know which service opens this pop up window suddenly in order to delete it.

How can I fix this silliness? It is very annoying thing!!!!!

Thank you very much in advance!Any help will appreciate!

You can fix it by not using IE. It's old technology and it's not nearly as good as some of the freely downloadable browsers out there.

IE is equivalent to the stock radios that come in cars. Sure they work, but they suck. So you throw it out and get a new one.

Get Opera or Mozilla. They have almost everything you need built-in........that includes pop-up stopping.

Thanks X86, once again I forgot it could be spyware.

Sorry 'bout that.

On my home PC I use Zone Alarm Pro, which has many privacy features, and also gets rid of pop ups. The free version does not but to me the pro version is worth the $$$
