Hi,
In IE, when I click on a link that points to a non-HTML file, such as a zip file, IE attempts to d/l the file to a temp folder instead of asking me where I want it saved to. This behaviour is new, so I'm sure I clicked a checkbox or something that makes it do this.
The question is, how do I undo this setting?
I looked in Tools -> Internet Options (of course) but found nothing that helps...

Any ideas?

Thanks.

right click on the file and choose "copy to folder".

I don't know what that option is - I have 'Save Target As'... Anyway, that doesn't solve my problem. Some sites don't provide a link to the file but instead start the download automatically, which in my case, goes straight to the temp folder.

It's this action I want to change. I want to be given a choice of where to save the file to...
