Prevent File Deletion

I would like as the Administrator of my p.c to prevent users from deleting the History file of Internet Explorer. Can anyone help me please??

Look into the Local Security Policy. If I'm not mistaken, there's a spot in there regarding IE and you might be able to prevent other users from deleting the history in there.

Open the Local Computer Policy Managemnt Console and ENABLE the following policy:
User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Internet Explorer\Internet Control Panel\Disable Changing History Settings
If you want to use the Registry Editor to further lock down your PC, goto http://www.winguides.com and type in HISTORY or IE RESTRICTIONS in their search bar and look around. There are registry settings that you can use to disable deletion of History. We just used these tricks on Friday to lock down some computers :)

Jinx, in W2K the mmc IS the registry. It's just a GUI that makes it easier to find the values you need
