Power down at shutdown

Comment:
I recently installed Win 2k on this PC, it had 98se on it before. When I chose to shutdown the PC when I had Win98se, it would automatically power off the PC. Now that I have Win 2000 Pro, it just displays "It is now safe to turn off your computer", and I need to manually turn it off. What gives? If 98 can do it, than surely 2000 can shut down automatically? Right? Is there a setting I need to change?
