I am running a terminal emulation program on my laptop and i need it to work but the problem im having is that my laptop has only a db9 com port and both the emulation software and the terminal connection uses db25
the terminal end is no problem im using a db25 to a db9 converter but the emulation software cant comunicate to the server due to it trying to access pins higher than 9

so i was wondering if there is something out there that can create a virtual db25 port and foward the communication from the pins above 9 to below pin 9

thanks for any help

I forgot to add this part

the full setup of the server/terminals is that the server uses a stallion serial hub and it uses rj45 cables that lead to the terminal but at the terminal end the rj45 cable is turned into a db25 connection using a rj45 to db25 connection

the setup is over 5 - 6 years old so more details other than the server,os and terminal settings has been lost

thanks again for any help

sorry for the double post
