Hi!!!,

I have 15 computers in my office. At present there is a DSL router which is terminating on a switch, providing internet on all the machines. I want to install a proxy server, which i have done and provided internet on all the machines. The problem is that the mail from Outlook is not working, through proxy.

Can anyone help me out on this.

You will need to install a mail service with some kind of "POP pulling" or "POP forwarding."

There are many reasonably priced software offerings which do this.

The mail server becomes a POP3 client to the ISP's POP mailbox/es and then in turn holds that mail in POP3 mailboxes for the clients.

If you have 15 existing POP mailboxes on the ISP's site, it may be more practical to forego a proxy mail server.
