when i restart my computer, it would reach the desktop and slow down for a moment. then it would say cannot download application. I would press ok and thats it. How do i get rid of this? by the way, is there msconfig on windows 2000? i cant seem to find it.
There is no msconfig in Windows 2000 but you can obtain it by downloading it from www.ocel.co.uk/msconfig.zip this is actually taken from a Windows XP system but it works perfectly fine with Windows 2000. Just copy it into the c:\windows or it may be c:\windows\system directory and type msconfig in the run menu - then you will be able to solve your pop up problem.
Regards Alex.

This is due to a program that is starting up - which you've already figured out. I have this same problem. I haven't found the answer yet, but it's due to the executable llswtkns.exe - I found that in my task manager when I opened it. When I click "OK" on the error, llstkns.exe leaves the task manager. Help me research this! :)
