I cant seem to install the Mustek 600CU scanner in Windows 2000. I have downloaded the win200 drivers from the Mustek site for the scanner, and the twain drivers\ are now available but the scanner is not showing and I cant install it in device manager. Please help?

stupid Question, is the poer plugged into the scanner ?
Try removeing all traces of the scanner, reboot your PC, Win2k should pick it up. If no try the scanner on another PC and make sure that it is not the scanner that has the prob

The power is on, and win 2000 will NOT recognise the USB scanner.
I am also unable to install manually ?
Please help

Alan, I have a Canon 620P. I installed the drivers manually and it works fine. I don't have any kind of recognition from 2000 that it's even there. It's not in Device manager or the Contol Panel.

Same here, Alan, I have a Mustek 600CP and it works fine but it doesn't show up in Device manager or Control Panel on my Windows 2nd Edition either.
