Posting in safe mode with network support.
Pentium 4 3.2, 256 ram, white box, win2kpro.Just got back and have a backload of files to process, but computer to the poind where the desktop should load and gives me a light blue screen with a small black square about the size of a stamp. it (the stamp) moves with mouse, and if run off the right side of screen the correct mouse pointer appears on the left of the screen.
No problems 3 days ago when I shut down?
If I do a control alt delete the screen tirns a lighter dhad of blur abd has what looks like random lines or dots?
Any advise Pleeeeese...

Did you try to adjust the monitor settings or try a different monitor? Is there a video card or is it a chipset on the mother board?
Video adapter in on board the MOBO, only 16 bit available in safe mode, suspect the video adapter is the problem but how can I confirm this? Thanks in advance for any advive.
