Hi,

I have noticed this strange behaviour on W2k professional the fist time. PC is connected at 100 MB. However, when I ping any server or pc inside the LAN it replies back at 10ms.

ON the same network point plugged in an XP machine and pings fine. Is this a bug in 2000. If so can it be fixed.

Reason being when we try to hit our intranet page it waits for 10 seconds and then loads the page.

Any suggestios will be handy

Are you loading a plain/static html page or is it a perl or php script? If it's a script, is it doing any db or other type of I/O calls?

It is a plain static page. No scripts at all.
