I recently installed Windows 2000 on my Micron Clientpro with an SCM Swapbox PCM/CIA Card reader. I use the reader to access Flash disk cards from digital cameras. Every time I insert a card it tries to install a PCMCIA MTD-0002 device, which it can't find. I've tried it with several cards and have had no luck. Help!
This is what i found for a solution to the problem:
This problem was found on some Compaq laptops using the Phoenix BIOS, which creates a hardware conflict problem. To resolve this issue, disable the Sound Blaster setting in the Phoenix BIOS, but do not disable Onboard PCI Audio in the Phoenix BIOS.

I tried to resolve this problem in my Compaq presario 1200 with W2000 professional but his phoenix BIOS does not have the options Sound Blaster Setting and Onboard PCI. Maybe I have to update the phoenix BIOS... Someone can help me?
