Basically i have bought a new laptop and a wireless 32bit card, installing it is fine and its detected no problem and works flawlessly. This is untill the card is removed. There are 2 slots for my card and if the card is put in the unused slot it will detect it and install drivers and work again. Now the next time i put the card into either slot nothing happens, no lights and no mention of it in hardware manager. I have tried restarting and removing drivers and reinstalling but nothing seems to make it work other than completly reinstalling windows (this fixes it). Is there some way of like telling windows to search for the card again or removing its knowledge of the card being in the pcmaia slot (ive tried removing/reinstalling the texas cardbus controler but this dont work either) or just to scan the two slots again for cards.

Crazy question perhaps, but why not just leave the card inserted?

I need to remove it to carry the laptop in its case and also the problems exists if the pc freezes or reboots.
