PC wont boot ?

HELP HELP ???? PC wont boot up! Firstly had case swap...PC boot fine...went to install a USB device...system crash....now wont boot back up. Hit power button, power light comes on thats it? What does this mean?

I have the same problem. I tried booting my laptop up in all different modes (ie. safe mode, last know good configuration..etc) but I still get a blue screen with a 0x07b, inaccessable boot device error message. I there anyway to blow away everything and reinstall a new OS? Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Hey,
Try booting with your Windows 2K CD and use the Emergency Repair console or let Windows try and analyse and repair your files automatically.
If you're using the Repair console, use 'Chkdsk /f' to repair the HD. Hope this helps.

Hi,
Just in case you haven't already tried: physically remove the USB device and try booting.
