Hi,
My PC keeps on rebooting on its own. In the event log i get the following error:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000009f (0x00000100, 0x81e8e2b0, 0x81e8e2b0, 0x81e8f9b0).
It doesn't really do it at any particular time. I can go hours without it happening then it just happens!!
I have a Epox motherboard, GeForce4 Ti4600 graphics card and 512MB of memory if that helps!!

Hi Neil,
Right click 'my computer' select 'properties', and then the 'advanced' tab. Select 'startup and recovery' and take the tick out of 'automatically reboot' if ticked. Check the event viewer for the last date/time of your crash and see if you can find any related information on the net with regards to your error, if unsure, re-post the event viewer message.

Do what Sven says.
What's going on is that Microsoft concocted a way to hide the Blue Screen of Death. Rather than fix their stability problems, they tried to create a way to hide them and make people perceive that there were no problems.
They're like liberals that way.
By default, they made it so that your machine reboots with no explanation instead of showing you a BSOD.

My computer has the automatic reboot checked but does not reboot by itself.
Niel, do you have Norton virus program on your computer?

Hi,
Well I would try these things but now it won't even boot!! It just powers down when trying to boot up. Then I get a message which says
"Warning!! CPU clock or ratio are programming fail previousloy. Please setup CPU host clock again."
Whats going on??!! Is my motherboard dead?

did you change any bios setting if you did change them back
if you did not your battery my be low
check cpu setting in bios for the cpu clock settings;)
