Comment: when pc boots up it only gets to Pentium 111-mmx cpu at 500mhz it has done this before and after stripping it down it booted up again ok now 6 month down the line it doing it again stripped it down once a again an still does not boot up i have upluged an took cards out an tryed booting an its just the same thankyou Tony

Reply: (edit)Most likely rogue memory. If you have more than one module take them all out except one and try it. If no change try a different on on its own. If you only had one module to start with try changing it. You don't need a large module to prove the point.

Reply: (edit)i have just tryed a hardrive out of another pc to rule that out an its still the same does this now point to the motherboard anyone any idears before i go out an buy a motherboard to find that its not the motherboard please help any idears would be much appreciated thanks Tony
