My computer is saying that it needs a patch for the CPU to be installed corectly at startup. Please run the Bios flash update diskette. I don't have one. How do I get one to solve this problem?

Go to your computer manufacturer's website and obtain the Bios update. Life is more painless for those who are brainless.

"My computer is saying" Does that mean Windows2000 is saying?
Sounds a bit farfetched that a P3 needs patching.

I agree with M2. Did you by chance recently change the CPU in your computer or change settings in the BIOS?
