I was wondering if it is possible to allow users with no credentials to access your windows 2000 shares. That means how could you make it so some person on windows 98 could access one of your fileshares without logging on in any special way. Thanks!

they have to log into the domain, or you can allow them remote access, but they still need a user account to log into the domain, and access resources. that is why you use win 2k serv. a domain is a security boundary. if you could log in w/o a password, why have a password in the first place.
if you enable the guest account, make sure you have permissions set for it accordingly, so as not to compromise your security. you are better off to follow a g dl p in native mode or mixed mode.
