My friend recently lost his password to his W2k server account. I found a program on the net called Passware password recovery, which resets the LOCAL ADMIN account password to 12345, which you can access only through Directory Restory Mode. I was wondering if there was any way to reset the NETWORK ADMIN account. I know of a shadow file in unix and linux you can copy and decrypt the password. I was just wondering if there was something along the lines of that in Windows 2000. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
