Can I partition a harddrive and just take a little piece out of it with data on the harddrive? (I have a 80 gig, I have about 60 left, and I want another partition of about 6 gigs) I have windows 2000 installed, but I need a small partition to test something on Windows XP.

You can use Partition Magic. It has a lot of great options like resizing partitions and etc without damaging the data.
