Partition Problem under win2k setup

I am trying to install w2k in my Abit KA7, custom built and I erased all the partitions from my HD. Then I used fdisk in the win 98 bootdisk to setup the partitions. One primary and 1 extended with 4 logical ones.
I formated all the partitions using fat32, and the Setup will not recognise them, and will show them as unknown.
My problem is that when I don't put an extended partition, the drive works just fine and windows setup detects the primary partition!!
anyone has a clue how I could setup the extended partiton?
Make sure you don't enable large drive support because win2k will puke on you.

Just install win2k, and then create more partitions after the installation. And for ROB !, Win2K will understand the drives even if you choose large drives, it will not be FAT32 if you don`t.

I agree with Tommy. I have no problem with "Enlarge" enabled "HD Block Mode" enabled. Make sure that the partition is active if fdisk has been used. Just install install win2k - either boot-up from CDROM and from stiffy or C: - Remember to make sure that BIOS and M/B supports win2k
