Pagefile missing

Here goes, I decided to swap 2 hard drives over - physically and with data. Unfortunately I renamed one of the drives forgetting that the pagefile was still pointing to it.
Now windows 2000 gives me the no pagefile/low virtual memory error when booting. This gets stuck in a loop and I cannot get any further. Is there any way of changing this without logging in to windows - I've tried all the recovery programs and now also have a dual boot with 2 windows 2000s.

I think that your best bet is to reload w2k onto the hard drive which has the least important stuff on it. After the install is complete is should have the dual boot again.
