I'm using Win2000 Professional and Outlook for email. When someone sends me a JPEG file attachment, Outlook doesn't allow me to click on it to open it (if I do, it opens up a bunch of text garbage). I have to save it to My Documents and then go back & open it with my picture program. How can I get Outlook to allow me to open it or view it???

Thanks in advance for your help!

You need to change the file type by going into the Folder options in Control Panel. Under the tab File Types, locate .jpeg file extensions and select Change. Then select the program you wish to open .jpeg files with. Just remember, ALL .jpeg files on your system will change over to the new program you use. And the program you select, i.e., a picture program, Paint and so forth, must support .jpeg format. Most do.
