Guyz, I have one user in my organization who is continuously getting same kind of problem pretty frequently... When she starts her outlook after entering the credentials it freezes. [ We are using MS Exchange 2000 as mail server]. I tried re-creating the outlook profile etc. And also deleting some mails from the server. Initially it worked fine, but the very next day she got the problem again.
Can anyone suggest what may be the reason for this problem and its solution ?
From different machine it is working fine.. her mail box size is less than 10 MB. and the synchronization setting has been deselected. These are the ones I tried first.. but unfortunately no result :(
It may not be frozen.... I have this happen occassionally with users. If the pst becomes corrupt when you go to open Outlook it appears that it locked up but the hard drive is cranking and it is actually fixing the PST file. On some users who have 1gb pst files it can take up to 5-10 minutes for outlook to open.
I used to have the same problem, but the problem finally got fired and I haven't had it since. I cleaned out the problem pc and found 9 gig of personal email with pics, jokes, and loads of other crap that had never been deleted.
