Hello:
I recently set up a computer with a clean Install of Windows 2000 Professional. The woman who uses it tells me it freezes up about twice a day in Outlook Express 6.
Is anybody out there having a similar experience? Is there a known glitch in the latest version of OE?

This is a known glitch since version 5.0 and so far it seems it hasn't been addressed yet. It doesn't happen on all computers, but sadly, it does :(. You could try installing IE 6 SP1, or using MS Outlook or any other email program instead of OE.
Too bad Microsoft is known for using its customers as beta testers.
