Outlook 2000

When I click on a "mail to:" link to send a message I get the error "Can't create the item". I have tried all the Microsoft fixes I could find. Can onyone help??

By that do you mean you also tried reinstalling Outlook?. Some programs can edit your registry settings so that they create another kind of object when you click on "Mail to:". A reinstall (not a fix) could perhaps reset those settings, if they are the cause.

Yes I have re-installed more than once, and have all the current upgrades and service packs as well. I feel it is something in the regisrty, but not sure how to fix it.
