outlook 2000 synchronization Exchange Server 5.5 problem

hello, The problem is when I'm using "synchronize" folders with a "dial-up networking". differents messages appear : access was denied because the username and/or password was invalid. Error background, Exchange Server is not available ... !!! although all configurations seem to be ok. thanks for your help
