I have an old pakgal game that runs in dos mode that I enjoy playing but my computer is too fast to play. Is there a way to slow it down where it will play?

LOL - I ran into the same problem with a couple old games too. I never did bother trying to make them run slower but you could try creating a shortcut to a "DOS" window and editing the properties of it. You may be able to tweak the resource usage of the window itself to slow things down. I considered doing as much myself but didn't want to play the game bad enough to spend the time.
Alternatively, if you look around (check the newspaper, call used PC shops etc) you may be able to find an old Pentium or PII class PC that will run the game at a more "normal" speed and just install DOS on it.
