OK to delete VIRTPART.DAT?

Comment:
The file VIRTPART.DAT is in the root directory of my C:/ drive. It's 27Mb and I'd like to know if it's safe to delete it. If not, what purpose does this file serve? (Googling doesn't provide any info on it).

Are you using Ghost? This file is associated with that program. You can delete the file, but the next time (if there is a next time) you run Ghost, the file will be recreated.
