Office Products terminate

Hi,
i have recently been owrking on a machien were most office products (in particulare excel and word) seem to terminate (and disappear with no message!). This happens when you select "save as", and start rename the file it will shut down word or excel with no indication. This does not always, happens randomly and i cant understand why.

any ideas?

I would reinstall Office as this kind of problem sounds bizarre. If you still get the error reoccurring after a reinstall then look on the Microsoft Knowledge base
