We have Windows 2000 client machine that suddenly needed a checkdisk done on it. It's NTFS after the check disk we found MS publisher is not working and was asking for the CD to load. But putting the cd 2 in didn't fix the problem, so I have unstalled it and reinstalled the first cd, but not able to install the second cd which is where publisher is. I have login as administrator of that machine. The error I get when we insert the second cd is
"This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it or contact the application vendor ro verify that this is a valid windows patch package."
I have checked this CD on another machine without any problems.
Do I need to installed anything that maybe got corrupted?
