Office 2000 virus??

Help! I have a windows 2000 laptop (Service pack 1) and office 2000. I turned on my computer this morning and opened word 2000. there are no tool bars at the top or anywhere in the program. I have tried to add the tool bars back to office by clicking the customize toolbar option. But none of the tool bars are there to select!! I would reinstall office but I have not got the cd with me. Is there anyway to resolve this problem.

By this time I am sure you have resolved this issue but if not try this. Restart the unit several times in a row. Windows has a way of debugging and resetting everything if it's given enough time.
