Comment:
Since I cleaned out the Blaster worm from my computer, all the Office 2000 softwares do not launch, they are looking for the installation msi file. As I do not have the installation CD any longer, any suggestions?

Yeah, do you have broadband. If so, use eDonkey2000 (Filesharing to the noobs out there) and download a new version of office. Or, just find the file. Either or.

Or, instead of priating another copy of an expencive MS product, you could download Open Office, which is free and will open and save files in MS format for compatiblity.

I'm not sure how eDonkey2000 is working, and how it can help get a reinstall of Office. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Go to eDonkey2000.com
Install the program
Do a search for Microsoft Office. Its not illegal because you already own Office and you are allowed to make backups.
